  I was wondering if I could get an overlay effect like this header: http://www.fanning-love.org/
For instance, how did they do the blue stripes as well as the "shadow" of Elle behind the main image?  And what about the blurry white fade out at the bottom? I use GIMP 2.6.7. Thank you. :)

I am so stressed out and my skin is so acne prone is it ridiculous, because I don't get enough sleep either, and I drink more alcohol than actual water. I need to rectify this, November and December must reverse water to alcohol ratio. Right on.

BUT. I have this weird obsession where I like to make natural face masks and toners (I think I've talked about this before) for myself, and have ME TIEMS and play at home spa. I actually thought about going into Dermatology at one point. Oh, and I've recently started threading, and I don't care how it sounds but it's FUN and EASY. I'd sit and watch my shows thread the little hairs on mah face. LOL. I can't believe people pay for this--the only thing worth paying for is a Brazilian, in my opinion. TMI? lol

On that note, I terribly hate being a girl. And I hate you people with awesome skin.

Осень пришла, и принесла с собой долгожданное: мне наконец-то снова захотелось есть.
Не просто пихать в себя хотя бы какое-то количество белков, жиров и углеводов - а именно Есть! Я варю супчики, пеку блинчики и снова с удовольствием сиживаю в ресторациях. Давеча Андрей Малахов, теплый мой человек, кормил меня завтраком в Ararat Park Hyatt - какой там творожок, ребята! А какая стерлядь в "Пушкине", какие огурчики малосольные - мы с utamusic умяли за ужином три порции=) И плювать я хотела на лишние килограммы, вот! Я после больницы за лыжами легко пряталась - уж на что всегда боялась растолстеть, но такая худоба тоже еще никого не украшала.

И вообще, у меня новая жизнь. Я выбросила уйму барахла и некоторые старые утомительные отношения впридачу. Купила новую сковородку. Познакомилась с... потом расскажу=)

Не отказывайте себе ни в чем, вот что я хочу сказать. Это вообще ни разу не метод.

uhmm.... i need help with my Imageready. I use Photoshop CS2 and the Imageready that comes with it.
When I'm making my gif it looks nice but when I save it it comes out all nasty and different. it didn't do this before so I don't know whats happened! D;

I have Photoshop CS3 and I use it to make animations from videos. I had CS2 before and I haven't done many gifs on CS3 so far. When I save the image (from Save for Web & Devices) the maximum quality which I can get is 256 colors but the animation still looks grainy.
